Tapping Pattern Lesson

This is a fairly easy lesson designed to improve basic tapping, and it also introduces a multi-finger style by adding a second tapping finger to the drill.

If you are not holding a pick, you may tap with your index and middle fingers.  If you are holding a pick, you may use your middle and ring fingers.  This exercise is not very tricky, but it will take repetition and practice to make it flow freely at a fast tempo.  It is really nice to hear the clean roll of the 16th notes, and to be able to freely integrate the technique into improvised lines.

Have fun and I hope that you enjoy the exercise.
